Welcome to MyAgentCommissions ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our web application located at myagentcommissions.com. By signing in, creating an account, or using our ledger, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration & Google Authentication

To access and record transactions inside the app, you must create an account using Google authentication (OAuth). You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete profile details through your Google identity.
  • Maintain the security of your device and login session to prevent unauthorized account access.
  • Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access or compromise of your session.

MyAgentCommissions is an automated, self-service bookkeeping and visual ledger spreadsheet tool. We are not a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm, financial advisor, or tax authority.

All brokerage split percentages, progress indicators toward cap thresholds, year-over-year growth analytics, and estimated quarterly tax reserve pools displayed in the application are **mathematical approximations** based solely on parameters and rates you manually define.

These calculations do not constitute professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You must consult a licensed CPA or qualified tax advisor to verify your actual tax obligations, split credits, and file your official federal, state, and local tax returns.

3. Use License & Permissions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the app to track your independent real estate commissions, splits, and sales pipeline. You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the underlying codebase or proprietary visual styling of the app.
  • Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or scripts that disrupt service stability or scrape data.
  • Use the platform for any fraudulent or illegal activity (e.g. tracking proceeds from unlawful activities).

4. Data Ownership & Content Responsibility

You retain full ownership of all data, text, and transaction values you enter into the ledger ("User Data"). You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy, validity, and completeness of all transaction entries.
  • Keeping local backup copies of your records (we provide a CSV export utility for convenience).
  • Ensuring client names, property details, and sales pricing records do not violate any local brokerage compliance regulations or non-disclosure agreements.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall MyAgentCommissions, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, tax audits, calculation errors, data loss, or system downtime) arising out of the use or inability to use the application, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Modification of Services & Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the application or any part of it with or without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the app after such changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your account and revoke your access to the platform at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you are in violation of these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the application infrastructure or other users.
